What moves

Everything customers and search engines rely on

  • Products and variants

Titles, images, options and prices carried over.

  • Customers

Accounts and contact details, moved with care for privacy.

  • Orders and history

Past orders kept, so customers and your team can find them.

  • Page addresses

Redirects from old addresses to new ones, so links keep working.

  • SEO settings

Titles, descriptions and structure checked after the move.

  • Checks before launch

Counts and samples compared before you go live.

Checks

Check everything before launch

We compare the old store with the new one, line by line.

  • Counts match

Products, customers and orders counted on both sides.

  • Samples checked by hand

A set of records opened and compared.

  • Redirects tested

Old addresses open the right new pages.

  • A plan if something fails

You know what happens before we start.

How we work

A careful move, in four steps

Nothing goes live until it has been compared with the old store.

  1. 01

    Audit

What you have, what moves and what does not.

  2. 02

    Map

Old fields matched to new ones, in writing.

  3. 03

    Move

A test move first, then the final one.

  4. 04

    Check and launch

Counts compared, redirects tested, then go-live.

Questions

Store migration FAQ

Still have a question?
Will we lose search traffic when we move?

We cannot promise how search engines respond. We map every old address to a new one and check titles and descriptions, which protects what you have built.

How long will the store be down?

We agree a window for the final move in advance and test everything first, so you know what to expect before it starts.

What cannot be moved?

It depends on the platforms. Some data, such as passwords or app data, may not carry over. We list this before we start.

Do you move customer accounts?

Yes, where the platform allows it. Customers may need to set a new password. We plan this with you.
